Receptionist - Hailey Wellington

Hailey is one of the receptionists here at St. Dorothy’s. She graduated from Bonita High School in La Verne in 2018. Hailey is currently attending college as a Nursing major, she studied in Arizona at Grand Canyon University for a year and is now studying locally, she hopes that one day she will work in Emergency Medicine. Hailey was born and raised Catholic and has a deep love for the faith. She has a German Shepherd named Harp and a guinea pig named Oreo. Hailey is constantly going on all kinds of adventures with her friends, whether that be camping, hiking, or going to new places. Hailey has always been one to work close with the communities around her ever since she was a child. For example, her and her family ran a tri-tip booth for around 8 years at the Immaculate Conception Fiesta. She would volunteer at the Immaculate Conception Christmas tree lot for 4 years. She frequently works with different Boy Scout camps around the San Gabriel Valley area. Every summer she lifeguards at a summer camp on Catalina Island with some of her closest friends. One of her favorite memories to date is when she camped at the Grand Canyon in early April with only a hammock and a blanket to sleep in. A close second would be when she went to Spain and Portugal to play soccer against semi-professional teams in high school. Hailey is more than willing to help with anything around the parish and can’t wait to meet the Parishioners of St. Dorothy’s!
