Silent Retreat: The retreat begins on Friday evening with registration from 3:00-5:00 p.m. The retreat concludes on Sunday morning with Mass at 11:30 a.m. With this option you will be able to come and visit our beautiful grounds on the foothills of San Gabriel and stay for 2 nights throughout the weekend. You may explore over 20 acres of gardens that include our historic Stations of the Cross, the Garden of 7 sorrows and cactus garden located next to a massive Morton Bay fig tree where the very first retreats were held back in 1926. Your conferences, will be live and in person. There will be time for personal prayer and the opportunity for the sacrament of reconciliation. In addition, you will enjoy 5 delicious meals throughout your weekend. Also, you will have a chance to schedule with a Spiritual Director and get some much-needed rest.
Individual Private Retreat
Sign up today for a much-needed private retreat. Explore over 20 acres of gardens that include our historic Stations of the Cross, the Garden of 7 Sorrows and cactus garden located next to a massive Morton Bay fig tree where the very first retreats were held here at Mater Dolorosa in 1926. Go on a hike or simply relax. The choice is yours. Sample self-guided retreat formats can be supplied to maximize your time on your individual retreat.
For $125 per night you will receive a guest room with a private bath and blissfully free of any electronic devices. The rate also includes three healthy meals prepared by our own onsite kitchen staff. Rooms are fully air conditioned and have been cleaned and sanitized following CDC guidelines. Minimum stay is one night. Day options are also available beginning at $25 per day.
Parent-Teen Retreat
The Parent / Teen Retreat is weekend designed to allow teens and parents to have many different experiences. This is NOT your parent's retreat! This wonderful weekend is geared toward teens ages 12-18 and their parent(s). Parents, come with your teens and enjoy our program from Friday to Sunday lunchtime.
