History & Vision
St. Dorothy's Church in Glendora has grown steadily over the past seven decades, evolving from a small chapel to a thriving parish thanks to the dedication of leaders like Fr. William Trower and Fr. John (Sean) Acton. Through various developments such as the construction of the Anyta Doyle Building and the establishment of an Educational Endowment Fund, we have adapted to the needs of our community. As we move forward into the Next Generation, we remain committed to preserving our values and supporting one another through both joyous and challenging times.
Our Vision
In support of the family and walking with all of God’s children, St. Dorothy Catholic Church is committed to developing a parish community steeped in prayer and guided by the Holy Spirit, sharing its relationship with Christ with those we encounter, nurturing a desire to engage others in love and Christian service.
Our Purpose
St. Dorothy Catholic Parish is a Christian community rooted in the Eucharist and focused on a relationship with Jesus Christ. Therefore, we provide opportunities for deepening the Catholic faith based on Scripture and Tradition, through relevant and meaningful liturgies, and Christian service.
